What have we been up to?

Thursday 25 November 2021

To answer the above question, not a great deal over recent months since going into lockdown August 17th. As restrictions start to ease, we have been able to undertake a small number of cool assignments in recent weeks.

A week or so ago I did a shoot with a remarkable young man who at 13 years old suffered a life changing injury and is now using his experience to guide others through who find themselves in a similar situation. More recently shot some drone footage of OFC’s impressive new office building at Ngahue reserve Auckland and then shot down to Hamilton to shoot & edit a short video for ICC, 100 days out from New Zealand hosting the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022.

The advantages of lockdown when the bulk of your work requires large groups of people either playing sport or attending events are few and far between. However it is an ideal time to upskill and either tone some existing skills or obtain some new ones. I did a UAV pilot’s qualification and recently passed the Advanced UAS Remote Pilot Certificate for flying Drones. If you are looking for a provider to shoot some aerial footage or photography, tick your Health & Safety boxes and hire an operator with a relevant qualification.

We recently changed the Gallery page on the site. If you want to check out what we have been shooting recently, check back here from time to time. Visit our Gallery here
